2020- What a Year

2020 has been quite a remarkable year!

Professionally, I was accepted into the NH Art Association after my 1st attempt was denied….lesson: Never Give Up. I began painting pet portraits and receiving commissions. My work now hangs in 2 galleries. I continue to paint almost every day, either outdoors or in my home studio which is adorned with bright west and north light. I have so many things I want to paint, landscapes, hot fudge sundaes, flowers ….but there never seems to be enough time with life’s many other responsibilities. 2021 will be a fabulous year as I look forward to a week-long artist workshop on Monhegan Island in Maine.

Biggest thing I learned this year: Paint/Do what you Love. The rest will all fall into place.

Personally, our son came back to live on the East coast to be closer to family. Our daughter graduated Magna Cum Laude with a teaching certification in Elementary Education and BA in English and is currently teaching 5th graders in CT. We all continue to be healthy and for that I am eternally grateful.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you will come see my works in person at either the Lane House Arts Center in Hampton, or The Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery on State Street in Portsmouth where I will have several pieces up or in display bins year round.

Stay healthy and bring on 2021!
