"I paint what I love, whether it’s the landscape, seascape or delectable lobster.  I am happiest when others enjoy my completed piece as much as I enjoyed creating it. Primarily an oil painter, I additionally paint in pastels. My style is a cross between contemporary impressionism to realism."

Marlene is an award-winning fine artist born and raised in Waterbury, CT. She began painting at the age of 10. After a 26 year career in marketing she began to pursue her first love once again, painting.  In 2017 and 2018, she and her husband were relocated from Cheshire, CT to the tiny town of Monarch, MT, where she enjoyed painting the legendary, exquisite scenery the Treasure State had to offer. Marlene currently resides in Barrington, NH with her husband and rescue dog Buckwheat.
